Yoghurt Digital was founded by long-time friends Michael Laps, Ian Fong and Matthew Forzan, who believed that not enough agencies were making the most of the swaths of customer behaviour data companies had at their disposal. Opening Yoghurt’s doors on 11th July, 2014, they’ve been on a whirlwind adventure ever since.
Unsurprisingly, the most common question that gets asked of the Yoghurt team is the story behind the name.
Is it because we’re overly fond of this delicious breakfast food? No, many of us are actually lactose intolerant.
Is it because we’re a ‘cultured’ group of humans? Technically true, but also not the reason for the name.
Here’s the brand story:
There are many ingredients that go into making yoghurt, but the key ingredient is the yoghurt cultures – that’s what ties everything together. Without the cultures, there is no yoghurt.
Bringing it back to the world of digital, this is reflective of how we work with you. Many teams already have the ingredients required for digital marketing prowess, but there’s usually something missing.
And that’s where we come in.
We’re the yoghurt cultures – the dairy-based glue that pulls all of your digital initiatives together to make a delicious final product. We’re the secret ingredient that brings your digital strategy to life.
We are Yoghurt.
